Dealing with stress this semester?

Stress. We all feel it, and deal with it, in different ways.

For those of us who lose sleep:
1. Try to get yourself on a schedule, going to bed and getting up at the same time every day.
2. Relax your body before sleeping. Stretch out in bed, starting with your toes and ending with your neck.
3. Relax your mind. Keep a notepad by your bed to jot down last minute ideas-worrying that you'll forget them keeps you awake.
4. Aromatherapy-Try a relaxing Lavender-scented lotion or candle before bed.
5. Make sure there are no bright lights that you can see from bed-this includes your cel phone and your clock! Tilt them away from where you sleep.

For those who eat their stress:
1. Make sure your meals are colorful-this satisfies the eye and the belly.
2. Pay attention to your body! Are you craving popcorn? Perhaps your body needs salt, or carbs...opt for a healthier option.

Symptoms?
Headaches are not always caused by stress-you could be dehydrated, or have fall allergies. Check out this chart to see the source of your pain.
